02 / THE PUBLIC CONTRACT

RULES.

Simple enough to understand before you bid. Public enough to hold us to it afterward.

01

Outbid by $1 to take a spot

Every rank has a price. Bid at least $1 more than the business currently holding a position and you take that rank. You can target #1 or any spot below it.

02

Businesses stay on the board forever

Being outbid never removes a valid listing. It simply moves down as other businesses bid more. Its link and bid remain public for as long as the board exists.

03

One URL, one listing

Each business URL or handle holds a single active entry. Use the same identity when increasing a bid so the board can move the existing listing instead of creating a duplicate.

04

Raising a bid costs only the difference

If your current bid is $25 and the position you want requires $27, you pay the $2 difference—not the full amount again. Previous verified payments count toward the upgrade.

05

Your business profile follows payment

After checkout, an account is created so you can add your logo, description and destination link. The business identity and payment history remain tied to the original claim.

06

The board closes at $80,000

Once verified contributions reach the goal, new bids and rank changes stop. The final ranking becomes the permanent result of the project.

07

If the goal is missed, a different car is bought

Your advertising and permanent listing remain delivered. The final amount raised will be used to purchase another car within budget, and the sticker bonus will not apply.

08

The Top 3 get the spotlight

The first three positions are visually highlighted for everyone who visits. Everything below them remains ranked in descending order by verified amount paid.

09

The Top 10 earn the physical bonus

If the full $80,000 goal is reached, the final Top 10 businesses receive logo stickers on the purchased car. Placement and production details will be coordinated after the board closes.

10

Links are allowed and encouraged

Your listing can link to your product, company, campaign or social profile. The destination must accurately represent the business that placed the bid.

11

Don’t impersonate another business

Claim your own company, product or authorized campaign. Fraudulent listings, deceptive identities and unauthorized impersonation may be removed.

12

Unsafe and illegal destinations are removed

Malware, scams, doxxing, hate, illegal goods, CSAM, pornography and graphic content are not accepted. Harmful links or assets may be censored or removed entirely.

13

Only verified payments affect the ranking

A reservation marked Payment Pending does not permanently own a rank. The position is secured only after the payment provider confirms the transaction.

14

Verified bids are final

Completed payments are non-refundable. You are purchasing a position on a changing public leaderboard, and that position can move when another business outbids it.
